My work explores memory, perception, and transformation through three interconnected bodies of work developed over more than two decades.

Beginning with the portrait series Talking to Strangers, I became interested in how identity is constructed, concealed, and reimagined. That exploration gradually evolved into layered abstract paintings on transparent Plexiglas, where colour, light, and depth replace direct representation. More recently, I have developed a series of interventions on found framed images, transforming discarded objects into new painted assemblages.

Although the materials have changed, each body of work explores the same fundamental questions: how meaning emerges through layers, how memory reshapes experience, and how paintings continue to reveal themselves through sustained looking.
